Chineese hillstream loach and fire belly newt.

Will a chineese Hillstream Loach and a fire belly newt coexist in a 10g tank? im planning on feeding the Loach; Tablets, and the newt; ghost shrimp,something if that matters.

I believe fire belly newts produce a mild toxin. That might be a problem for any fish kept with it. Also, the current levels the hillstream prefers are probably stronger than a newt would prefer.
