New golden dojo

I have a new golden dojo.

She appears to be breathing hard compared to my other dojos.

One (maybe both) gills are very open and showing red.

And she likes to lay on her back, aka play dead.


This is an established planted tank, my other dojos, barbs, and tetras are doing fine.


Any ideas?

acclimation issues maybe?

I've isolated this fish into a 10 gallon tank. She's receiving maracyn and maracyn 2, but so far no improvement.
