How many Sewellia would be happy in a 100L tank?

Post by Hokum » Tue Aug 03, 2010 10:49 am

I currently have 3 Sewellia lineolata in my tank, and they have been happy for about 6 months. But i'm almost 100% positive they are all female. The tank has three large rocks (one for each of the loach) a big pile of rocks and a few new ones exchanged with my algae mini tank for a treat.

The tank also has a large dwarf anubias, and Java moss, it is filtered by two Eheim Aquaball 180's. 8 WCMM and 7 Glolight Danio.

Would i have issues if i went for another (male) Sewellia lineolata?

no problem Hokum
try to form a group of about 6 (-8) speciemen and put more bolders of about 15-20 cm length into the tank and a long root wood with anubias on it.
cheers Charles
