Unusual or usual?

Post by Hamish&Dad » Wed Apr 06, 2011 5:40 pm

Hi everyone!
Recently, I have seemed to notice that one of the clown loaches had been hiding, the other Clown Loach, joyfully swims around...
They are both healthy, he only seems to come out for an hour or so at night, when we feed the other fish so on
No signs of illness or any health problems, is this a usual or unusual happening?
Thanks,
Hamish and Hugh. :D

Some Loaches hide more than others, even within a single species, however...
If you have only 2, then the one that is hiding might be the lower ranking fish, and is getting chased too much by the other one.
38 tanks, 2 ponds over 4000 liters of water to keep clean and fresh.

Happy fish keeping!

Some clowns will find a favorite hiding spot and won't leave it in fear that they'll lose the spot to another clown. If this is the problem, then you'll need to add more caves. Many of us here use pvc pipes.
