Petco Hillies

Post by grizzlyone » Wed May 09, 2007 11:29 pm

Here's the pics of the Hillstreams I picked up at Petco.

I think that Jim is right and that these are gastros not sewellia.

When I got there, there were only two in the tank. I'm pretty sure one didn't make it.

I think I may wait for sewellia from my other source.

They are definately gastros. That's all I have seen at Petco in the way of hillstreams. Although, one of the fishroom employees did tell me they had another kind in once, so I am curious as to what that was. The Petco just down the street seems to have trouble keeping gastros alive, though, and has not had them in awhile.
