kuhlis burrying...

Post by poeticpyro » Tue Mar 14, 2006 11:43 pm

my new kuhlis are burrowing underneath these smoothed out glass pebbles, they don't get stuck and they can't cut themselves (the glass is round and flat and supposedly for aquarium use, i've had it before and it hasn't harmed any of my fish). should they be okay, or should i consider buying a new type of gravel and if so what? it MUST be gravel, i cannot do sand.

help is needed....

I use a combination of sand and small rounded gravel in my kuhli tanks. They love to shift thru the sand. It's wild watching them pump it thru their gills.

I'm having a problem with my kuboti burrowing under the decorations. It's funny when you see a tail sticking out and you know the fish is laying on it's side under the log.
