Pangio temperatures

Post by daspricey » Sun Sep 16, 2007 6:58 am

Just came across these articles where pangio doriae and shelfordii were found in streams with the temperature of just 18*C!

http://www.ibanorum.netfirms.com/JVL1.htm

My best guess is that it was a cool month and the pangios can tolerate cool temperature for a certain time period.
Can certain pangios be kept in temperatures like 22*C permanently and comfortably for my sub tropical tank?

Thanks

David

Pangio shelfordii is the one exception when it comes to tenperature. All other Kuhli species need tropical temperatures between 25.5 - 28ºC and generally prefer the upper end of that range.
My best friend is a cat.
