Breather bags

Post by Wendie » Fri Mar 31, 2006 9:39 am

I am getting a couple loaches thru the mail from the net. When you acclimate the loaches shipped in breather bags do you do it differently than you would from a regular bag you would receive in a store?

Thanks

I don't see that these breather bags would fundamentally change the procedure Wendie. The fish should theoretically be in better shape than with regular bags.

Martin.

if you really want to do an aclimation right do it like they do it for saltwater fish.. the "drip" method.. over time.

They are the kuhlis doing the loach dance and clearing the bottom of the tank of sand.
