Cherry barb and botia striata behaviors

Post by LoachOrgy » Mon Oct 22, 2007 9:50 pm

These two fish go together very well. They all seem to play together. I have several pieces of pvc pipe in the tank and the striata dig holes under it and sleep under there. I fed the fish today and noticed that the female cherry barbs will actually follow the striatas underneath the pvc pipe and hang out. I thought it was hillarious.

Nice to know - thanks. I am eagerly awaiting my new striatas, and based on what I hear cherry barbs or B. pentazona may be suitable partners.

I'm waiting for my striatas as well.

I haven't seen cherry barbs here yet though.
